I am a passionate Man United fan and the recent pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo has disgusted me, although I’m not worried. I am 100% positive the board will not sell Ronaldo at any price.
We have already told Real Madrid to piss off but they still persist in their futile attempts to lure Ronaldo away from Old Trafford.

Who? - Cristiano Ronaldo - Speculation
Where is he? - Manchester United
Who is he linked with? - Real Madrid
Manchester United’s owners have warned Real Madrid that Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale at any price. The Glazer family are adamant that they do not need even a reported world-record 70million transfer fee to boost the club’s coffers despite reportedly incurring around 600million of debt when they financed their takeover at Old Trafford three years ago.
Real Madrid remain intent on prising the 23-year-old Portugal international away from the Red Devils, but the American owners have warned the Spanish giants that they are wasting their time. Ronaldo, who is currently away on international duty at Euro 2008, has so far refused to pledge his future to United despite being just 12 months into a five-year contract.
“There is no way Ronaldo is for sale at all, even if he puts in a transfer request,” a source close to the Glazers told The Sun. “Anyone thinking the debt comes into this is totally ignorant of the facts. The debt is covered comfortably by the interest payments. In the three years the family have owned the club, they have shown a clear track record of investment which will continue. The Glazers have never meddled in anything the manager has done and never will interfere. All decisions on buying and selling are down to him and if he wants new players the money is there.
There is no truth in any insinuation we would be willing to talk to Real Madrid about selling Cristiano. That is nonsense. The next move is for the manager to talk to Cristiano when he returns for training.”
I think Ronaldo will be off myself. He’s shown everyone involved with United a total lack of respect and in the end he may be hounded out of the club. The only questions that remain is how much will he go for? I wouldn;t be surprised to see United try to get other clubs involved to escalate the price, and they won’t have to sell to Madrid.

Hmm, you have got a good point, he is showing a lack of respect but he is still young and all the awards and praises he has won recently has gotten to his head. So having said that, I think it’s to be expected how he is handling the situation at the moment, albeit an aweful way of doing that.
However, I don’t think Sir Alex Ferguson will sell him at any price for the moment, maybe not this upcoming season but probably next one. Knowing Sir Alex, he’d rather let him rot on the bench or God forbid, the reserves, rather than selling him.
Thanks for your comment,
Andy
let them sell ronaldo
everyone has a dream and his is to play for madrid. Yes, Madrid are interested in him but I dont think there is anything wrong with the way they are pursuing his transfer. Manchester are no saints also lets not forget how they obtained Hargreaves. I
