Wanted 2008

I just finished watching the new movie Wanted and I must say it turned out to be much better than anticipated.  This is not a review, I just wanted to note that the movie has an awesome ending, definately one of the best endings I’ve seen in awhile…

I might write up a review of this movie and others I’ve seen recently including Kungfu Panda, Spiderwick Chronicles and some others..

Iran vs Israel & America

I found a news article today on the current situation in the middle east with Iran and Israel, it looks like war is unavoidable at this point.  Recent comments from Iran suggests that preparations for war are well underway with their Shahab-3B missiles positioning to aim right for the nuclear heart of Israel.

If war breaks out than the apocalyptic end time prophecy scenario will gain more plausibility than ever before.  Many say the year 2012 will be the biggest year for end time prophecies and I will be looking out for the upcoming events leading up to 2012…

Back To School…

I’ve enrolled to Victoria University on Nicholson St, Footscray, to complete the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of IT.  Orientation day is on Friday July 11th at 10am, that’s in 2 weeks!  I havn’t been back in school for ages, I wonder what’s it going to be like…

I think these 2 courses will take at least a year and a half to complete and then after that I will sign up for the Bachelor Of Arts degree in multimedia.  I’d actually wanted to jump straight into multimedia but they wouldn’t let me before I finished the Diploma’s in IT(General), but I’m sure they will let me transfer after they see my artwork and what I could do…

Too Long..

Wow, it’s been a week since my last post.  I’ve spent the whole week practically playing Civ 4, I’m starting to get tired of it actually, so I went and got my hands on a full version copy of the Spore Creature Creator.

Don’t ask me where I got it, I just did… Below is my first creation with all the options available in the full version.  There are heaps more body parts and different paint templates for you to play with and this is what I came up with…

Too Busy Playing Civilization 4: Beyond The Sword

Sorry, I havn’t posted anything new for the past few days.. That’s because I’ve been playing Civ4 non-stop, It’s so damn addictive! Just one more turn!

Last time I played Civ was probably more than over a year ago, that was the original Civ4, without the Beyond The Sword expansion. The game was good back then but it had it’s flaws, BTS polished the game abit more and brings the gameplay experience to a higher level.

The only reason why I got this posted is because I didn’t load up Civ4 straight away after I woke up this afternoon – that’s how addictive it is, once I start it up, it’s so difficult to put it down…

Apprentice UK Finale

I’ve been following The Apprentice UK TV Series on youtube, and I’ve found the contestants to be quite below average in terms of business acumen. These 12 british apprentice wannabees are really stupid and ignorant, I believe I would of had a better chance of winning than probably all of them.

Although it was frustrating to see these people make dumb mistakes, it was very entertaining to watch. The winner was Lee, a very likeable guy who showed the most business acumen out of all in which he consistently performed and delivered every week.

Cristiano Ronaldo to make new announcement in next few days…

Here’s some news from www.4thegame.com regarding the Cristiano Ronaldo transfer saga.

Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo will make an announcement about his future in the next few days, following Portugal’s exit from Euro 2008 at the hands of Germany.

The 23-year-old is expected to say that he wants to quit Old Trafford to join Real Madrid, although the Red Devils had previously threatened to leave him in the stands rather than sell him.

CRISTIANO RONALDO

Ronaldo said after the 3-2 quarter-final loss to the Germans: “In two or three days time I will announce my future, because the tournament is over for me.

“I will speak to Manchester United. I will try to reach an agreement and we will see.

“The possibilities of going to Real are big, but it doesn’t depend on me and because of that I don’t want to talk about it.

“Everyone knows what I want, but in the next two or three days you’ll have something new.

“It is a dream, a step forward, you can call it what you want. For me it is a great opportunity and as Luiz Felipe Scolari says, that train passes by only once and we have to take advantage of it.

“You will soon know what I want. You do know what I want and that is why I don’t want to say anything else.”

Real director, Miguel Angel Arroyo, had yesterday hinted that the Spanish giants were just waiting for a statement from Ronaldo to officially launch a bid for the United star.

He told Marca: “We are waiting for Ronaldo to say something and, as soon as he says he wants to play for Real Madrid, there will be conversations between the two clubs.

“We would willingly reach an agreement with Manchester United if it is possible, that is to say, if they want to sell and if the price was affordable.”
